      There should be a threaded hole in the flywheel housing. It takes a 2 wire mag sensor that threads in and reads teeth on the flywheel. They use them in big trucks for tach and speedo. Same sensor in the older trucks you can actually switch tach and speedo sensors and no worries.

                          Can someone explain this to me? How can his dyno get a horsepower reading without the RPM? horsepower = (torque x RPM) / 5252 does it not? So how is a horsepower reading even possible

                            Would it be possible to use sensors on the crank pulley for the RPM signal?
                            I mean like the ones used on aftermarket cruise control kits.

                                    you should put the pipe in the exhaust tube drill 3 holes into both pipes and screw 3screws through both pipes then use tape just to seal joint with the screws holding in the pipe.

                                                                              looks like your passenger rear wheel has some wobble to it. might be the wheel wasnt welded true. or a bent axle or wheel. youll see it on the tire after a while

                                                                                fire stations are equipped with exhaust extraction systems for their diesel trucks. they use a rubber bladder to connect to the exhaust which is then pressurized to hold and then release as the truck moves out of the bay. You might look into one, might even find a used one.

                                                                                              Diesels aren't HP motors, they're torque motors. So what ever you have in HP, double the torque. lol

                                                                                                Actually,a good rule of thumb is your hp is one third of your torque. At least in big displacement engines. Don't know if that works with these little pickup truck engines.
